How to Use

Phonetic Mode

Type words phonetically using English letters. Includes Google suggestions for alternatives.

namaste → नमस्ते
nepal → नेपाल
kathmandu → काठमाण्डू

Google Input Mode

Uses Google Input Tools API for smart transliteration. Best accuracy with multiple suggestions.

Type → See suggestions → Press 1-5 or Space
Use Tab to cycle through options

Romanized Mode

Each key maps directly to a Nepali character using standard Unicode layout.

k → क, K → ख

Nepali voice typing

Use your microphone for voice to Nepali typing (speech recognition in the browser). Click the red mic in the toolbar, allow access if prompted, then speak in Nepali. Final phrases are inserted into the editor as you go—ideal for hands-free Nepali dictation online.

Voice typing works in Chrome, Edge, and Safari. Network access is required for recognition. Learn more about supported browsers and how it works.
